Greenish yellow color, aromas of apple and exotic fruits, boxwood and herbaceous notes. Intense sip of medium persistence. Well-paired with an eggs and asparagus dish.
Wine obtained from Chardonnay (togliere una “n”) grapes grown in both volcanic and limestone soils in the Soave Classico area. Medium intensity straw yellow, very pleasant honts of golden apple, citrus and papaya.
Selection of grapes from vineyards of old grapevines (over 40 years) located in the Monteforte d’Alpone and Monte Foscarino areas. It ferments in used barriques with regular lees stirring (“batonnage process”)
A selection of richly concentrated grapes are obtained from this low yield vineyard (50q /ha). In the glass the wine appear in an intense straw yellow color with wide golden reflections, consistent and glyceric.
The exaltation of the toasted and smoked notes is a clear reference to the birthplace of this wine. Fermentation and aging take place in highly-toasted new barriques for 30% and used for 70%.
